Red Road Project – Anti-Substance Abuse Campaign

Conceived in early 2012 by community Chiefs, the Red Road Project aims to educate First Nations youth about the dangers of using illegal substances. Additionally, the project encourages youth to say no to the peer pressures of substance abuse, and raises awareness of the damaging effects of substance abuse to not only the person using, but also their family, friends, and larger community. The project’s name, “Red Road” stems from the Native American concept that means to be on the right path in life in harmony with our Creator.learn more.
